## Before you start: you need to sign in

Claiming requires you to sign in with****the email address the card was sent to****. If you do not have a GreetPool account yet, you can create one with that email in a moment.

This is what keeps the gift with the person it was meant for. If you sign in with a different email, you will be told the gift belongs to another address.

## Claiming from received card

### Step 1: Open your card

Open the card from the email you received. Your gift appears near the top of the card, showing the amount and an option to claim it.
